All who wish to attend the conference must register and pay the registration fees via the conference registration page ECC 2023 (use button Register now from above). The final version of the accepted papers must be submitted electronically through the PaperCept Conference Management System.
Each accepted paper should be covered by the registration of one of the paper co-authors. The registration fee must be paid within the deadline for final upload of accepted papers (before May 9, 2023). The details of the registration fees are provided below. The registration opens on March 27, 2023. Papers where none of the authors is registered will not be included in the conference program.
For all other participants, it is suggested to complete the regular registration by May 9, 2023. (Early Bird)

Full in-person registrations include: access to the conference venue, 2 daily coffee breaks, 1 lunch ticket per day, 1 ticket for the welcome reception, 1 ticket for the farewell reception, 1 ticket for guided tour Palace of Parliament, 1 ticket for the banquet dinner, up to 2 papers uploads (the registrant must be a co-author of the associated paper(s); 6 pages/paper allowed, maximum 2 extra pages at additional cost).
Student/Retiree in-person registrations include: access to the conference venue, 2 daily coffee breaks, 1 lunch ticket per day, 1 ticket for the welcome reception, 1 ticket for the farewell reception, up to 1 papers uploads (the registrant must be a co-author of the associated paper(s); 6 pages/paper allowed, maximum 2 extra pages at additional cost).
Student status: If at the time of registration or at the time of initial submission of paper for review you were a “full-time student” at a recognized institution, you may register at a Student rate.
Retiree status: If at the time of registration or at the time of initial submission of paper for review you had retired or did not hold a full time employment, you may register at a Retiree rate.
Each accepted paper should be covered by the registration of one of the paper co-authors. The corresponding registration fee must be paid within the deadline of the final upload of the accepted paper. Accepted papers which are not associated to a registration of one of the co-authors will neither be included in the conference program nor in the proceedings.
Each full registration allows to upload 2 final papers maximum. Each student registration allows to upload up to 1 final paper. The registrant must be an author of all the papers associated to their registration.
Paper uploads in addition to those included with each registration are possible at an extra cost of €200 per paper. Each extra upload has to fulfill all requirements of a regular upload. Important: To pay for extra pages you first need to go to your paper submission page, complete the final submission information including number of pages in your manuscript, then return to registration – the excess page charge will appear automatically in your cart
The final paper length is limited to 6 pages. A maximum of up to 2 extra pages (for a maximum length of 8 pages per paper) is allowed. Extra pages require the payment of over-length page fees at a cost of €100 for each extra page.
Extra banquet tickets can be requested at an extra cost of €100/person via the online registration system or onsite. Extra banquet tickets are subject to availability.
Workshops will be held at the conference venue on June 13th, 2023, the day before the official opening of the conference. Advanced registration for pre-conference workshops can be done online via the conference registration system. Please note that workshops are: (a) subject to cancellation for lack of registrants, and (b) allow a maximum number of participants.
Important: You can register for only 1 workshop because all workshops take place simultaneously. Recordings of workshops will not normally be made.
The costs of attending a pre-conference workshop are : €120 for Full In-person and €70 Student/Retiree In-person.
Conference registration is a prerequisite for registering at a pre-conference workshop.
As an author or co-author, an official letter-of-acceptance that confirms that your paper has been accepted and reaffirms the expectation that you will attend the Conference is available by request. The letter can be used for visa and travel support applications.
To request the invitation letter please contact the conference organizer at the e-mail with the subject “ECC2023: Invitation letter”. The mail should contain the following details:
Letters confirming registration without an accepted paper may be also issued by the conference organizers, after a participant has registered for the conference. In this case the request mail should contain the proof of registration.
After uploading a final paper no refund of the corresponding registration fee is possible.
Cancellation and refund of in-person registration fees that do not correspond to final paper uploads are possible. Requests must be made via email at ecc23@euca-ecc.org with the subject “Cancellation ECC23 NAME SURNAME” until April 30, 2023. No refunds will be made after this date. Cancellations are subject to an administrative fee €100.
Transferring a registration is possible. A student can transfer her/his registration only to another student. Please contact the secretariat via email at ecc23@euca-ecc.org for further information.
Force Majeure
Unexpected cancellation of the conference. The organising commitee reserves itself the right to cancel without notice or compensation ECC23 in the event of force majeure cases (for example, but not limited to acts of nature such as fire, earthquake, hurricane, flood, war or terrorist attacks). In such cases, the organising commitee is freed of all responsibility.
Limitation of liability. In the event of it being impossible to carry out the ECC23 for force majeure cases, so long as this arises from a cause not attributable to the organisers, the organisers shall only be obliged to reimburse the payments received subject to deduction of any costs it has incurred in preparing the event. This liability only extends to the payments made directly to the ECC23 and not to payments made by the attendees to the hotel or airlines.
After uploading a final paper no refund of the corresponding registration fee is possible.
